The Committee considered the petition and agreed to:

 

  • welcome and support the Minister’s intention to seek advice from the National Specialist Advisory Committee and ask that he keeps the Committee informed of the outcome; and
  • write back to the Petitioners asking that they respond to the specific points raised in the Minister’s letter.

·         letter to Jane Ellison MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary for Health in relation to support for rapid development of a licensed oral preparation; and

·         request to NIHCE to consider developing advice for clinicians.
