Business Managers agreed to:

 

(i)           amend Standing Order 25.26 to 25.34 to require the Business Committee to refer any proposals tabled by a Member that has achieved the support of at least ten Members from three different political groups, including at least one Member from a group with an executive role, to a committee for consideration, followed by a plenary debate;

(ii)          insert a new Standing Order stating that no motion passed calling for a section 109 Order to be made would have effect unless supported by two thirds of Members; and

(iii)        changes to Standing Orders 26.86 and 24.14 – 24.17 in light of the decisions above.
