Issues relating to the Wales Audit Office are generally considered by the Public Accounts Committee.

 

The Finance Committee’s remit includes specific statutory powers under the Public Audit (Wales) Act 2013 relating to responsibilities for governance oversight of the Wales Audit Office.

 

These functions are set out in Standing Order 18.

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales in accordance with Section 14(1) of Schedule 8 of the Government of Wales Act 2006, appoints RSM Tenon as the auditors of the accounts of the Auditor General for Wales in relation to financial years 2011-2012; 2012-2013; and 2013-2014.

 

The Motion was agreed, in accordance with Standing Order 12.36.
