To
propose that the National Assembly for Wales:
1.
Notes the Welsh Government's commitment to open data through the publication
and ongoing implementation of our first ever Open Data Plan.
2.
Notes the progress Welsh Government has made to date, along with ongoing plans
to increase the openness and availability of data.
3.
Supports the Welsh Government ambition to draw on legislative powers to develop
guidance that encourages greater publication and use of open data across the
Welsh public sector.
4.
Supports the Welsh Government's aim to adapt processes for acquiring goods or
services to promote openness and transparency.
