To propose that the National Assembly for Wales notes that securing the best deal for Wales from CAP Reform is a key priority for the Welsh Government.

The following amendments were tabled:

Amendment 1 - William Graham (South Wales East)

Insert new point at end of motion:

Recognises that it is vital to secure the future of Welsh family farms during CAP reform negotiations.

The Amendment was agreed, in accordance with Standing Order 12.36.

Amendment 2 - William Graham (South Wales East)

Insert new point at end of motion:

Calls on the Welsh Government to work constructively with the UK Government to oppose the ‘greening’ of Pillar 1.

Amendment 2 was withdrawn.

Amendment 3 - William Graham (South Wales East)

Insert new point at end of motion:

Notes the disproportionate impact CAP Reform will have on different farm systems and recognises the need for appropriate transitional arrangements.

The Amendment was agreed, in accordance with Standing Order 12.36.
