1. Believes that the education system should enable
the education workforce to take the lead on professional development and on
improving education standards;
2. Calls for the raising of the professional
standards of the education workforce by making teaching a Master's level
profession and improving continual professional development for the whole
workforce; and
3. Calls for the devolution of teachers' pay and
conditions to Wales.
