1. Notes the wide-reaching benefits Wales can gain from hosting major sporting events;

 

2. Deeply regrets that the Welsh Government has not put a strategy in place aimed at raising Wales’ profile during the 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games; and

 

3. Calls on the Welsh Government to be more ambitious, proactive and transparent in its approach to attracting top sporting events to Wales.
