The consent of the National Assembly for Wales was sought by the UK Government to Legislate on an issue which could normally fall within the competence of the Assembly.

To
propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order
29.6, agrees that provisions in the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment
Bill, relating to prohibiting a NHS employer from discriminating against an
applicant who has previously whistle-blown and which provide remedies,
including the award of compensation, in so far as they fall within the
legislative competence of the National Assembly for Wales, should be considered
by the UK Parliament.
The
motion was agreed in accordance with Standing Order 12.36.
