Purpose:
This is a
matter where the consent of the National Assembly for Wales is sought by the UK
Government to Legislate on an issue which could normally fall within the
competence of the Assembly.

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in
accordance with Standing Order 29.6 agrees that provisions in the Deregulation
Bill, relating to Chapter 4 of Part 6 of the Housing Act 2004 (Tenancy Deposit
Schemes) in so far as they fall within the legislative competence of the
National Assembly for Wales, should be considered by the UK Parliament.
A Supplementary Legislative Consent Memorandum
(Memorandum no. 4) has been laid in Table Office on 30 June 2014 in accordance
with Standing Order 29.2(iii).
The Motion was agreed, in accordance with Standing Order 12.36.
