Public Audit (Wales) Bill, a Government Bill, introduced by Jane
Hutt AM, Minister for Finance and Leader of the House. The Business Committee
has remitted the Bill to the Public
Accounts Committee.
About the Bill
The Public Audit (Wales) Bill aims to strengthen and improve the
accountability and governance arrangements relating to the Auditor General for
Wales (AGW) and the Wales Audit Office (WAO) whilst protecting the AGW’s
independence and objectivity.
