Purpose:
The
Public Accounts Committee
undertook an inquiry into the Regeneration Investment Fund for Wales (RIFW)
following publication of the Auditor General for Wales report into the sale of
publicly-owned land and property assets by the RIFW (15 July 2015).
The
Committee published its report
on its inquiry into RIFW (PDF, 555KB) in January 2016. The Welsh
Government response (PDF 161KB) was laid on 8 March 2016 and a plenary
debate followed on 16 March 2016.
The
Committee recommended in its Legacy Report, that its
successor Committee reflects on the findings from the inquiry and monitors the
implementation of the recommendations by the Welsh Government.
