that the National Assembly for Wales:
Notes the
report of the Expert Group on Diversity in Local Government.
The
following amendment was tabled:
Amendment 1 - Aled Roberts (North Wales)
Add as new
point at end of motion:
Calls on the Welsh Government to work with local authorities to encourage
family-friendly working environments, and to take into account the report’s
findings regarding childcare availability, timings of meetings and the
atmosphere of council meetings.
Amendment 1 was agreed in accordance with Standing Order
12.36.
