The
arguments around fair funding for Wales have been identified in the reports of the
Holtham Commission in 2010 and Silk Commission (Part 1) in 2012, there have
been more recent developments across the UK which could impact on the Welsh
devolution settlement.
The National Assembly for Wales’ Finance
Committee undertook an inquiry into Future Funding for Wales.

on future funding for Wales.

The Committee took evidence from Jane Hutt AM, Minister for Finance and
Government Business, Andrew Jeffreys, Director Treasury, Finance &
Corporate Services, Ed Sherriff, Head of Fiscal Strategy, Welsh Government and
Jeff Andrews, Specialist Policy Adviser.
3.2
The Committee agreed to write to the Minister for Finance and Government
Business for further information.
