This is a matter where the consent of the National Assembly for Wales is sought by the UK Government to Legislate on an issue which could normally fall within the competence of the Assembly.

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 29.6 agrees that provisions in the Serious Crime Bill relating to child sexual exploitation and the offence of loitering or soliciting for the purposes of prostitution, and the imposition of a  notification duty on various professionals in respect of identified cases of female genital mutilation and an associated statutory guidance power, in so far as they fall within the legislative competence of the National Assembly for Wales, should be considered by the UK Parliament.

The motion was agreed in accordance with Standing Order 12.36.
