Purpose:
Background
The National Assembly for Wales’ Environment and Sustainability Committee looked at the Welsh Government’s proposals for the M4 around Newport.
The Committee considered whether Welsh Government proposals in relation to the M4, and the process to that point, had effectively balanced economic and environmental needs and interests.
The Committee took evidence from stakeholders on 6 November 2013 and from the Minister for Economy, Science and Transport in early 2014.
