Purpose of the consultation
The Health, Social Care and Sport Committee undertook an inquiry into the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak, and its management, on health and social care in Wales.
The inquiry considered the impact of the outbreak, and its management, on health and social care services in Wales. As part of this, the Committee examined the response by the Welsh Government and relevant public bodies, as well as considered the impact on staff, patients and others receiving care or treatment in both clinical settings and the community. It also considered the Wales response in the wider, UK context.
Responding to the call for views
The deadline for submissions was Friday 19 March 2021.
How
we use your information
As
a matter of course, we publish all views we receive.
For
individuals submitting in a private capacity, we anonymise views before
they are published. The names and roles of those submitting in a professional
capacity will be published, as will the names of organisations
submitting information. We may remove personal data from the published version
of your evidence if we consider that it could be used to identify you or a
third party personally; and/or we agree to do so in response to a request by
you.
Please
ensure that you have considered our policy
on disclosure of information before sending
information to us, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions or
concerns.
Language
We
work in two official languages, Welsh and English. You can submit in either (or
both if your organisation’s standards or schemes require you to do so), in line
with our Official
Languages Scheme. We will publish in the language
submitted, stating that it has been received in that language only.
Individual
cases
While
all views submitted will help our thematic scrutiny of Covid-19 and its impact,
we are unable to advise on, or take up, individual cases.
However, your local representatives will be able to assist you and you can find
their details on our website.
At this difficult time, people will have many questions about
coronavirus related to health and social care, employment
rights, benefits, business support, travel, food, retail, cancellations,
education and lots more. The Senedd Research blog can point you in the direction of the most
up-to-date information and guidance from official and reputable sources.
We are in the process of working through the responses received to date and will be publishing them on a regular basis. If you have responded and it has not yet appeared please be assured that we are currently working on it.
