EVENT: Celebrating 75th Anniversary of Windrush Generation in Wales

Description: 22nd of June 2023 is the national Windrush day. We have the Windrush generation to thank for their extensive contributions to the development of the Welsh economy. This date will mark the 75th Anniversary of the Windrush arrivals in the UK. We hope to start the event at 10.30am with a March bearing the Windrush and Commonwealth flags and the flags of 54 nations of the Commonwealth- we will host speakers/ performers / etc.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
