Description: Join us for a lunchtime event to mark 100 years since the 1922 General Election, which prompted a century of political activism and societal change. Deian Hopkin, a renowned historian, and First Minister Mark Drakeford will discuss November 15th 1922 and the progressive policies that followed, reflecting on achievements such as the National Health Service and the Welfare State, both of which have profoundly benefited Wales. The National Library of Wales is proud to support this event and will exhibit rare archive material from significant moments over the last century.

Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
