Description: Model Commonwealth Summit 2018 - Towards a Common Future Funded by the Welsh Government, 10 schools from across Wales will take part in a Model Commonwealth Summit that coincides with the Commonwealth Heads Of Government Meeting (CHOGM) taking place 16-20 April in London. Sponsored by Rt. Hon. Carwyn Jones, First Minister of Wales, the Model Commonwealth Summit will provide students with the opportunity to discuss the shared global challenges that all countries face and how we can work together to promote prosperity, democracy and peace. The Summit will also introduce young people to the work of the Commonwealth and its constituencies.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
