<OpeningPara>The Petitions Committee has been set up by the Senedd to consider all petitions that meet our rules of collecting 250 signatures. </OpeningPara>

 

<OpeningPara>The Committee has five Members who come from the different party groups represented in the Senedd, and is chaired by Jack Sargeant MS.</OpeningPara>

<news>The Senedd’s Petitions website has been updated. For every petition you can now see a 'heatmap' showing where people have been signing that petition. You can see maps based on Constituency or Region. We hope this new feature will be useful to both those creating and signing petitions.</news>

 

 

<news>On Wednesday 16 December, the Senedd agreed to amend Standing Orders relating to the number of signatures required in order for a petition to be considered by the Petitions Committee.
