The Committee considered further correspondence and agreed to write back to the Minister for Health and Social Services to seek an update on discussions with other UK administrations about achieving parity of scheme benefits, and press for this issue to be resolved as a matter of urgency.

The
Committee considered correspondence from the Cabinet Secretary for Health and
Social Services and agreed to write back to the Cabinet Secretary to repeat the
request for an indication of the likely timescales for determining and
communicating scheme benefits for the Welsh Infected Blood Support Scheme
(WIBSS), and to ask that he provides the Committee with a breakdown of the
financial support for beneficiaries once the scheme benefits have been
determined.
