As a Christian  I believe a short slap on the leg or arm an make a disciplined point when necessary. I believe that lack of discipline is why so many children go astray later in their youth where as discipline builds a healthy  brake (knowing hoe far to go/ when to stop etc.) into their character. I also think lack of discipline in schools has had a very negative effect on teaching system.
