Thousands of loving parents would be criminalised .It will not stop bad parents abusing their children. Smacking is not chill abuse. The law a ready protects children from violence. 76% of Welsh adults were against criminalise g smacking.
Why , against this overwhelming opinion does the Welsh Government persist in pushing thus through? The Bill says that the law should be the same for children as it is for adults .How ridiculous! Would we allow a child to marry or vote or drive a car? No because they are ch7ld ten .
It is the role of a parent to decide whether to smack their child not the Government. No

Yes.Loving parents would be criminalised. Children could be potentially removed from parents over allegations that they have been smacked.
