I feel that this bill would criminalise parents who love their children and want them growing up to realise right from wrong.
I was smacked as a child when my mother thought I needed it, which wasn't very often. I did not feel that I was being abused.
I believe parents should have the right to discipline their children in the way they feel best.
There is a difference between lovingly smacking a child and abusing a child.
I feel that children's behaviour today is getting worse because of the lack of discipline from people such as teachers and even police who are not allowed to give.
Children are already protected by our countries system and I strongly disagree with this bill.

No. Parents should have total responsibility for their children as it has always been.

Yes. It would mean police being inundated with far more work than they already have.
