About you

Individual

1      The Bill’s general principles

1.1     Do you support the principles of the Children (Abolition of Defence of Reasonable Punishment) (Wales) Bill?

— No

1.2     Please outline your reasons for your answer to question 1.1

(we would be grateful if you could keep your answer to around 1000 words)

I live in the Amman Valley which has an amazing Christian heritage which you should not ignore. My great grandfather became a Christian during the Welsh revival and I have inherited that legacy and the values that go with it. I refuse to be brainwashed by the Cultural Marxists who are Godless and morally bankrupt and are undermining and redefining our culture.

I was smacked by my loving parents when I misbehaved and I was slippered by prefects and masters when I was a school. We had absolutely no respect for masters who did not slipper.

I am an anthropologist and most of the people groups I have studied have some form of corporal punishment.

I am considered well adjusted and I have no form of mental illness - smacking and slippering did not  have any negative psychological impact.

1.3     Do you think there is a need for legislation to deliver what this Bill is trying to achieve?

(we would be grateful if you could keep your answer to around 1000 words)

The Bill should be abandoned as it does not have any place in a civilized country

2      The Bill’s implementation

2.1     Do you have any comments about any potential barriers to  implementing the Bill? If no, go to question 3.1

(we would be grateful if you could keep your answer to around 1000 words)

It is the antithesis of the values of most people of faith including Muslims - the bill will alienate people of faith and undermine the Christian heritage of Wales

2.2     Do you think the Bill takes account of these potential barriers?

(we would be grateful if you could keep your answer to around 1000 words)

Revoke the biil then there will be no barriers

3      Unintended consequences

3.1     Do you think there are there any unintended consequences arising from the Bill? If no, go to question 4.1

(we would be grateful if you could keep your answer to around 1000 words)

Loving parents will be demonized and criminalized -  an increase in feral children

4      Financial implications

4.1     Do you have any comments on the financial implications of the Bill (as set out in Part 2 of the Explanatory Memorandum)? If no, go to question 5.1

(we would be grateful if you could keep your answer to around 1000 words)

If you revoke the bill there will be no financial implications

5      Other considerations

5.1     Do you have any other points you wish to raise about this Bill?

(we would be grateful if you could keep your answer to around 1000 words)

Revoke it - it is a total waste of time and money
