Dear Lynne

Petition P-05-821 Reintroduce educational support funding for MEAS and the TES to local authorities

The Petitions Committee considered the above petition, which was submitted by UNISON Neath Port Talbot, most recently at our meeting on 25 September.

At the meeting, Members agreed that I should write to you to share details of this petition ahead of your upcoming scrutiny of the Welsh Government budget for 2019/20.

Further information about the petition and the Petitions Committee’s consideration of it to date, is available on the Assembly’s website at:

The Committee also agreed to share with the petitioners a copy of your report  into the Education Improvement Grant: Gypsy, Roma and Traveller, and Minority Ethnic Children.

Please contact the clerking team at SeneddPetitions@assembly.wales if you would like any further information.

Yours sincerely
