Statement by the Llywydd
This meeting was held in a hybrid format, with
some Members in the Senedd Chamber and others joining by
video-conference.
Having consulted with the Business Committee, the Llywydd
determined that in accordance with Standing Order 34.14A-D, Members
would be able to vote from any location by electronic means.
The Llywydd also gave notice, in accordance with Standing Order
34.15, that the public had been excluded from attending this
Plenary meeting, as is required to protect public health. The
meeting was broadcast live and the record of proceedings published
as usual.
The Llywydd then announced, in accordance with Standing Order 26.75, that the Wild Animals and Circuses (Wales) Act 2020 was given Royal Assent on 7 September.

The Deputy Minister and Chief Whip answered questions 1-4 and 6-7 for the last 15 minutes of this session on matters relating to her responsibilities. Question 5 was not asked.
