1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting.
1.2 Apologies were received from Jayne Bryant AM.
1.3 Under Standing Order 17.24A, Dai Lloyd AM and David Rees AM declared that they were Assembly Members for constituencies within the Swansea Bay University Health Board region.
2.1 The Committee received evidence from the Welsh Government’s preferred candidate, Emma Woollett.
3.1 Members agreed the Motion under Standing Order 17.42 (vi) to exclude the public from item 4 of today’s meeting.
4.1 The Committee considered the evidence received and agreed the content for its draft report.
5.1 The Committee received evidence from representatives of the Royal College of Nursing Wales.
6.1 The Committee received evidence from a representative of the Royal College of Physicians Wales.
6.2 The Committee requested whether the Royal College of Physicians Wales would be able to provide written information about the changes that could be made to help improve detection and early intervention of Sepsis cases originating in community settings.
7.1 The Committee noted the letter.

8.1 Members agreed the Motion under Standing Order 17.42 (vi) to exclude the public from the remainder of today’s meeting and for the meeting on the 18th March.
