1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting.
1.2 Apologies were received from Helen Mary Jones AM and Lynne Neagle AM. Joyce Watson AM attended as a substitute for Lynne Neagle AM.
2.1 Under standing order 17.24A, Dai Lloyd AM, Committee Chair declared an interest as a GP who has paid medical indemnity in the past whilst working as a doctor.
2.2 In accordance with standing order 26.21 the Committee considered and disposed of the following amendments to the Bill:
Amendment 1 (Angela Burns) was withdrawn with the Committee’s agreement.
Amendment 2 (Angela Burns) was withdrawn with the Committee’s agreement.
2.3 The Chair confirmed that all sections and schedules of the Bill have been deemed agreed. As such Stage 2 proceedings have been completed.

4.1 The Committee agreed the Motion to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting.
5.1 The Committee considered and agreed the order of consideration for Stage 2 proceedings of the Health and Social Care (Quality and Engagement) (Wales) Bill. The order will be published on the Bill’s webpage.
6.1 The Committee considered and agreed its approach to the follow up work to be undertaken in this area.
7.1 The Committee agreed to prioritise two inquiries for consideration – an inquiry into CAMHS inpatient placements out of area, and an inquiry into hospital discharge. The Committee also agreed a number of other shorter pieces of work. Details will be published on the Committee’s website.
