1       Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest

1.1        The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting.

1.2        Huw Irranca-Davies declared an interest as Chair of the European Advisory Group, Chair of the Wales Programme Monitoring Committee, and Chair of the Regional Investment Steering Group.



2       Follow-up work on Brexit preparedness - evidence session with public services

2.1     The panel responded to questions from Members.



3       Papers to note



3.1   Paper to note 1: Correspondence from the Minister for International Relations and the Welsh Language to the Chair regarding the draft international strategy, overseas offices and trade - 5 November 2019

3.1.1  The paper was noted.



4       Motion under Standing Order 17.22 to elect a temporary Chair for the Committee meeting on 18 November 2019

4.1     Members agreed to appoint Huw Irranca-Davies as temporary Chair for the meeting on 18 November 2019.



5       Motion under Standing Order 17.42(vi) to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting

5.1     The motion was agreed.



6       Follow-up work on Brexit preparedness - evidence session with public services - consideration of evidence

6.1     Members considered the evidence received.



7       Scrutiny of international agreements

7.1     Members considered and agreed to note the UK-USA Access to Electronic Data for the Purpose of Countering Serious Crime, and the Construction and Operation of a European X-Ray Free-Electron Laser Facility.
