1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the Committee.
1.2 Apologies were received from Neil Hamilton AM and Rhianon Passmore AM. Mike Hedges AM was present as a substitute.
2.1 The papers were noted.
3.1 Members received evidence from Dr Andrew Goodall, NHS Chief Executive/Director General, Health and Social Services; Simon Dean, Deputy Chief Executive NHS; and Steve Elliot, Deputy Director of Finance, Welsh Government as part of the inquiry into the Implementation of the NHS Finance (Wales) Act 2014.
3.2 Dr Goodall agreed to send further information on a number of issues raised.
4.1 Members received evidence from Dr Andrew Goodall, NHS Chief Executive/Director General, Health and Social Services; Frances Duffy, Director of Primary Care, Welsh Government and Andrew Griffiths, Chief Executive, NWIS as part of the inquiry into the NHS Wales Informatics Services.
4.2 Dr Goodall and Andrew Griffiths agreed to send further information on a number of issues raised.
5.1 Members held a valedictory session with the Auditor General for Wales ahead of his retirement on 20 July 2018.
5.2 The Committee Chair recorded his thanks to Huw for all the support and advice he has provided to all the Public Accounts Committee Chairs during his tenure as Auditor General, and wished him a very happy, healthy and long retirement. He advised Members that he was making a full statement in plenary on Wednesday 20 July but as this was Huw’s last public item in Committee, wanted to record his gratitude on the record.
