To propose that the National Assembly for
Wales:
Notes progress on the Welsh Government’s agenda
for public service reform.
The
following amendments have been tabled:

Add as new point at end of motion:
Regrets the lack of transparency of the Welsh Government’s
previous announcements on public service reform.
Amendment 3 - William Graham (South Wales East)
Add as new point at end of motion:
Calls for a fully costed analysis of the Welsh Government’s
agenda for public service reform.
Amendment 4 - William Graham (South Wales East)
Add as new point at end of motion:
Calls on the Welsh Government to deliver Public Service Reform that
brings together the independent third sector and the public sector
with the citizen and the community at the centre, responding to
public need and reducing demand on other services via a whole
service approach and co-production.
Amendment 5 - Peter Black (South Wales West)
Add as new point at end of motion:
Believes that the Welsh Government’s agenda for public
service reform should have a clear focus on reducing the schools
spending gap between England and Wales.
Amendment 6 - Peter Black (South Wales West)
Add as new point at end of motion:
Notes with concern the Welsh Government’s inconsistent
approach to collaboration in the delivery of public services.
Amendment 7 - Peter Black (South Wales West)
Add as new point at end of motion:
Regrets the Welsh Government’s agenda for public service
reform has not been made clear and believes that it should be
focused on outcomes rather than process.
Amendment 8 - Jocelyn Davies (South Wales East)

Recognises the importance of securing fair funding in order to
achieve effective public service delivery.
