1.1. The Chair welcomed Members and members of the public to the meeting.
1.2. Apologies for absence were received from Janet Finch-Saunders AM. David Melding AM substituted in accordance with Standing Order 17.48.
2.1 The Committee received evidence from:

· Debbie Green, Chief Executive, Coastal Housing
3.1 The Committee received evidence from Jennie Bibbings, Campaigns Manager, Shelter Cymru.
3.2 During the session Shelter Cymru agreed to provide the number of cases dealt with of privately renting homes that were formerly purchased under the right to buy.
4.1.a The Committee noted the correspondence with the Cabinet Secretary for Communities and Children in relation to violence against women.
4.2.a The Committee noted the letter from the Cabinet Secretary for Communities and Children in relation to Communities First - lessons learnt.
4.3.a The Committee noted the letter from the Chair of the Public Accounts Committee in relation to the ‘Reforming local government: Resilient and Renewed’ White Paper.
4.4.a The Committee noted the correspondence from the Cabinet Secretary for Communities and Children in relation to the Abolition of the Right to Buy and Associated Rights (Wales) Bill.
4.5.a The Committee noted the letter to the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Local Government in relation to human rights in Wales.
4.6.a The Committee noted the letter to the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Local Government in relation to local government reform.
5.1 The Committee agreed the motion.
6.1 The Committee discussed the evidence received under items 2 and 3.
