2       Children's Commissioner for Wales - Annual Report 2015/16

 

The Committee scrutinised the Commissioner on her annual report.  The Commissioner agreed to provide the following:

A breakdown of the types of cases that have been dealt with by the casework team over the last year; and

A note on the Commissioner’s strategic outreach plan including the amount of engagement with children and young people.

3       Inquiry into Youth Work - Evidence session 1 - Council for Wales of Voluntary Youth Service (CWVYS)

 

Under Standing Order 17.24 Llyr Gruffydd AM declared he was an Honorary President of the Council for Wales of Voluntary Youth Services (CWVYS).

 

The Committee heard evidence from CWVYS.

4       Inquiry into Youth Work - Evidence session 2 - Wales Principal Youth Officers' Group (PYOG) & Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA)

 

The Committee heard evidence from the PYOG and the WLGA.

 

The WLGA agreed to provide a note on the position of youth service mapping exercises within local authorities.
